Some people think that looking nice is important, whereas others believe people pay too much attention to it.

I think that to look nice is important. First of all, it makes a good first impression. A person is more confident if he or she knows they look good. Second, it makes all social interactions easier because people like those more if they are well-dressed or look beautiful.

At the same time, there are people who believe that men and women are too obsessed with their appearance. They spend too much time and money following changing fashions when those resources would be better spent elsewhere. Looks should not play that big a role in their lives.

Well, I do not agree with this opinion. One cannot disregard their appearance completely. People like to be surrounded by those who are well-dressed, more than those who are not, and if one wants to get along with people, he or she should accept that.

In conclusion, I would like to say that there are opposing views on this issue. Even though one should not spend too much time on trying to look too fashionable, people should make some efforts to make sure they look nice enough to be around. Thus, I support the idea that it is important to look nice.
