I think that producing a school magazine is a great activity for pupils who want to become versatile. First of all, they learn to work together on a project, get their ideas across, and listen to the ideas of others. Second, they learn to accept criticism and be creative. It is also a lot of fun!

At the same time there are people who think that this activity is a waste of pupils’ time. Pupils, they believe, would be better off focusing on more important schoolwork instead.

I cannot agree with the opinion mentioned above for a particular reason. Schoolwork is important, however, making a school magazine develops skills such as leadership, creativity, teamwork, dealing with criticism and listening to others’ opinions, which is really important for future life. Working together on a school magazine helps them acquire these skills.

In conclusion, I would like to say that although schoolwork is very important, it is not the only important aspect of school life. It is also important for children to learn to work together and a school magazine is a perfect situation for developing teamwork skills. Thus, I strongly believe that working together is an essential skill to have if one is to be successful in his or her social interactions as well as at work.

In conclusionI would like to say that there are opposing views on this issue. At first sight making a school magazine might seem not proper activity for pupils but in actual fact doing this project is a perfect way for developing teamwork skills. Thus, I strongly believe that working together is an essential skill to have if one is to be successful in his or her social interactions as well as at work.
