Some people think prison is the best punishment ever, whereas others do not agree with it. They consider it as a best place to make a criminal more experienced.

I think that there are far better punishments for criminals than prisons. First of all, people that are sent to prison for different crimes should not be kept together. Otherwise, they just improve their criminal skills. Second, if a person made a mistake, he has to have a chance to fix it and prisons are not the best places for it. I also believe that criminals must be educated and shown other ways of getting what they want.

At the same time there are people who say that any crime must be punished. If criminals are not isolated from others they will continue committing different crimes.

I cannot agree with the opinion mentioned above for a particular reason. People who brake laws have to be shown that they were mistaken. However, I am sure that the best way to prevent them from commiting other crimes is to show and teach them alternative methods of achieving their goals.

In conclusion, I would like to say that humans tend to make mistakes. A crime is one of the biggest mistakes people can make. I strongly believe that such people have to be punished but in such a way that they cannot do crimes again. I am absolutely sure there are always some positive alternatives in order to give a person a good lesson without sending them into a jail.

In conclusionI would like to say that there are opposing views on this issue. At first sight prisons might seem to be the best way of punishment but in actual fact they often teach law-breakers even better crime-craft. Thus, I support the idea of educating the criminals rather then putting them into jails right away.

Some people say that prison is one of the most effective and fair ways of punishing criminals, whereas others do not agree with them. They believe that jails turn people into more skilled criminals.

soch 001 002

Personally, I think that prisons are a very effective punishment. First of all, in prison a person will have a lot time to think of his or her mistakes. For example, he will understand what his life would be if he didn’t make that mistake. Secondly, if you separate a person from society he will suffer a lot. When he becomes free, he will never commit a crime again.

soch 001 003

At the same time there are people who think that prisons are a very bad tool of punishing people. They are sure that when criminals communicate with each other, they will learn how to do crimes better.

soch 001 004

As the matter of fact these people have a point. Some criminals might share their experience and become even bigger law-breakers. However, it is more exception than the rule. There have been a lot of people who understood their mistakes and regretted about their past, which have turned them into good law-obedient persons.

In conclusion, I would like to say that every thing in this world has as advantages as well as disadvantages and prisons are not the exception. There are a lot of countries that use such a way of punishment and it seems it works well.
