Some people think that to best develop endurance one should do winter sports, whereas others do not agree. They consider summer sports the most effective for this purpose.

In my opinion, winter sports improve people’s stamina best of allFirst of all, the main winter sports such as cross country skiing; downhill skiing, and ice-skating require monotonous repetition of the same physical motions, which is the best way to strengthen endurance. For example, when one skis, he or she puts on skis, takes two ski sticks moves forward for hours. Secondly, it is a scientific fact that human the body develops endurance better in winter. For instance, the same Scandinavian skiing movements during summer time give worse results, although the type of motions a sportsman does is essentially the same.

At the same time, there are some people who say that summer sports develop one’s stamina better. They believe that volleyball and basketball are the best ways to enhance people’s endurance.

I do not agree with the opinion mentioned above. When people play volleyball or basketball, they do not have to move all the time as people do while skiing. The more a person moves, the heartier their endurance becomes.

In conclusion, I would like to say there are opposing views on this issue. At first sight summer sports might seem better to development one’s endurance, but in actual fact winter sports give better results. Thus, I strongly believe that winter sports are best suited to develop people’s stamina.

In my opinion, summer sports improve people’s stamina best. First of all, the main summer sports such as football require fast running and a lot of acceleration. For example, when a person plays football he or she has to run really fast which sometimes they do a lot of times during a match. Secondly, summer time is usually hot and it increases the pressure on people’s endurance, consequently developing it. For instance, if a person runs fast when it is over 30 degrees Centigrade, his or her body can endure extremely detrimental pressure.

At the same time, there are some people who say that winter sports develop one’s stamina better. They believe that skiing or ice-skating is the best way to enhance people’s endurance.

I do not agree with the opinion mentioned above. Unlike people who move gradually doing skiing or ice-skating, playing football requires a lot of accelerations, which really develops stamina. The more a person accelerates the better results they have.
