Suddenly, when he put his hand in his pocket, he felt sticky, liquid chocolate. He realised that the radar melted the chocolate bar somehow.

We'll never know exactly how Percy was feeling, but he was probably excited by what had happened and disappointed that he wouldn't be able to eat his bar of chocolate.
